It has been some time, literally eighteen months since we have updated this website, the reason being that after completion of the infrastructure at the Bulk Services Site as well as all internal services in Phases One to Seven in 2009, the Global Recession struck the financial world to the extent that sourcing of developmental capital became a huge challenge with typical turnaround times of six months between applications, only to be informed that the present economic meltdown presents risk which few would venture in. 

This tiresome phase in the Project’s existence is now behind us. We have entered into far reaching negotiations with World Class Financiers to the point that issuance of guarantees is imminent where after final funding agreements will be signed. 

We have given instructions to our architects to continue designing the Phase Eight layout (mini CBD) together with the buildings in it comprising the 5-star hotel with its garden suites, the permanent clubhouse with conference facilities, the 75-luxurious apartments and villas, business complex with anchor convenience shopping centre, restaurants and corporate office suites, the chapel, the spa and the fitness centre to complete the envisaged upmarket town complex. 

The tender documents for the upgrading and tarring of the access road, Road PR 1787, are complete and ready to go out on tender soon. Also the Gatehouse and Visitor’s clubhouse drawings have been Council approved which together with the perimeter security fencing are soon to be out on tender. The golf maintenance centre drawings are being issued for Council approval. All this building work, when given the green light by say 15 March, should be complete by end October 2011.   

The Developer plans to build a couple of show houses which should start the exciting home building phase. 

The local (SA) opening of the championship golf course is planned to follow the completion of the access road upgrading and other works mentioned above by November 2011. 

We are planning the International Grand Opening of the course after completion of the Phase Eight works mentioned above by October 2012 when the Site should be well on its way of being developed into what we believe to be a world class destination.
